Faith in Our Future
GOAL MET JANUARY 2012
$1,000,000. “Faith In Our Future Campaign is based on our founders strong belief that we can do better for those in need, for those who have an emergency. It is the recognition that we have been depended on for 25 years to help individuals and families in crisis and we will be looked to for the next 25 years and beyond to perhaps do even more. This campaign is not for bricks and mortar or an endowment fund- it is a fund that can be accessed when unexpected economic downturns occur and even greater numbers of people need a hand. I like to think of it as the communities emergency fund – when a person is hungry or needs a prescription filled or help with utilities or finding a job somehow telling them we cannot help just doesn’t seem like what Mrs. Windsor would expect. We just simply need a better response and a way to manage the ups and downs and critical influxes when they happen. The annual fund budget alone cannot take into account all the crises and emergencies that PATH will face. A $1 million emergency fund will not solve all that may occur but it will enable our faith community to better respond to all who need PATH in the future. “ – C.C.Baker
Wall given by Trudy Richardson in honor of her mother Gertrude Ann Richardson. Gertrude Ann Richardson worked side by side with Mrs. Windsor to form PATH but sadly passed away before PATH opened its doors.
