Client Letters

To the PATH Angels!!

I just want to thank your organization for the wonderful services that you do for people like me who need you so much!

It was so hard to ask for help. I had always taken care of me and my family. When my precious husband passed away, I so wanted to go with him. Life was just not ever going to be the same. Dealing with his loss, my health also took a nose dive.

But when I came to you, you treated me with respect and looked at me with love. You were so understanding. Not once did you act like I was a Charity Case or make me feel unworthy.

I had to move in with my daughter in order to make it but I want you to know how much I respect your giving organization that does not judge.

If I ever come into money which is highly unlikely, I would donate it to you! God will truly bless  you!!

Thank you most of all for letting me be a human being that is truly worthy!

Dear Miss McGee,

During this past week, I have been considering all that I am thankful for. I have spent many years of my life helping others, sometimes in dangerous conditions, I never considered I would be reduced to asking others for their help.

I am grateful and thankful for the kindness and considerations you and PATH offered me this past month. I was having difficult with accepting any help for my recent disability and you and your staff were very helpful in making me comfortable. Thank you for making em feel welcome and not ashamed of my recent status in life. Your group PATH is unique in your hospitality and generosity. Thank God that you were there for me when I needed you. God Bless You.

Sincerely

K.B.

Dear PATH volunteers,

This last Monday I drove a lady over from Bethesda Health Clinic who had come in looking for help obtaining medications. It turned out she moved to Tyler recently after her apartment burned. She found a job and had just cashed her first paycheck Friday, when she was stabbed and robbed. She was left with 32 cents. She had run out of food on Sunday. The hospital released her in a hospital gown to walk home with 2 prescriptions that she couldn’t fill.

I brought her up to the front counter, explained her situation to two of the volunteers and received the most wonderful response. One said “So, she needs everything”. The other turned to the lady, and with a huge, friendly smile said “we can help with all of that!” What a wonderful response. What amazing volunteers and what a terrific organization.

I ran down to the pantry just to let them know a client was coming with no refrigerator. The volunteer had me go up and point her out quietly, and said he would take care of her personally.

Amazing Grace!

Sincerely,

C.F.

Thank you so much for your help. Your agency is named well. PATH (People Attempting To Help). We do not know what we would have done without your help. We appreciate your understanding of our circumstances. We needed help, and you were there.
