Has there ever been a year to rejoice quite so much in its ending? 2020 was difficult for all of us as we have coped with the effects of the COVID-19 pandemic. For those who already struggled to meet their basic needs, the obstacles they faced this year may have been impossible to overcome without the support they received from PATH.

Earlier this month, I visited with Sarah, who has never been to PATH for help before this year. Sarah lost her job due to the pandemic and went through all of her savings trying to keep her family going.

As I spoke with Sarah, I could see myself in her – a regular, working mom whose life was turned upside down due to no fault of her own. Due to the support from our community, PATH is able to stand in the gap for Sarah and her family, to remind her that she matters and that there are folks in her community like you who care.

PATH makes it possible to both give and receive hope right here in your hometown. You can make the difference in someone’s life by keeping them from eviction, giving a blanket to keep them warm on winter nights, or by simply being a friendly face.
