For the past 25 years, countless children and families in need have been helped by kind-hearted individuals who have dedicated their time, resources, and efforts to make a positive impact. Non- profit agencies, community groups, and volunteers all play a crucial role in ensuring these children are given the support they need to grow, thrive, and achieve their full potential.

This annual partnership food drive between PATH and JJO Charities happens four times yearly (March, July, November, and December) at Walmart locations in Tyler. With our Choice Food Pantry seeing 500 MORE FAMILIES EACH MONTH, you can help us by volunteering your time and getting the word out.

What will I do?
Stand at one of the Walmart Supercenter entrances (5050 Troup Hwy. in Tyler location), distribute shopping lists, and collect donated items from shoppers – it’s that simple!

Who can volunteer?
Anyone! Adults, families with children, students needing service hours, groups, and civic organizations.

How long will I be there?
Shifts are 4 hours long, but any amount of time is appreciated – groups can work together and breakshifts into smaller segments.

Why is this important?
PATH spends $12-15,000 a month to purchase food from area food banks, warehouse clubs, and grocery stores that offer the freshest, widest variety of items to those we serve. These drives help us to shift budgeted funds to items not normally donated, such as meat, milk, eggs, and produce.
