More Than A Building
For more than 40 years, PATH has been a place where neighbors are seen, heard and cared for in a personal way.
Today, the space where that care happens no longer matches the level of care PATH strives to provide.
When the Space Falls Short of the Care
PATH's pantry grew from about 1,300 families per month in 2010 to about 1,950 today: nearly a 50% increase.
Safe Food Storage
Food is currently stored across inadequate locations, including a deteriorating structure and a trailer that wasn’t designed for food storage. Lack of refrigerated and freezer capacity can force PATH to turn food away.
Congested Pantry
Storage now spills into the pantry itself, reducing shopping space, limiting food variety and creating constant restocking demands.
Privacy for Case Management
Case management, reception and waiting areas currently share tight quarters, making private conversations more difficult.
Accessibility & Safety
The main building is not ADA compliant, its foundation is uneven, flooding is an issue, and an adjacent storage structure has deteriorated beyond repair.
Families Waiting Outside
Families regularly wait outside, even in poor weather, before receiving service.

Meet Our Neighbor: Brittany
Brittany worked hard for almost two years as part of the Transitional Housing Program. Because PATH cares for people and has the resources, Brittany was able to move forward. Through the pantry and Transitional Housing Program, she met her savings and career goals. Plus, she was able to buy her own home!
“Thanks to PATH, they helped me with so many issues and knew where I wanted to be. Today I move into my own home!” – Brittany
