get RENT
rent
PATH helps with rent for families and individuals that are facing homelessness because they have been issued an eviction notice. As funding allows, PATH is able to offer a one time rent assistance per family. Each situation is different and our funding is aimed at those who, under normal circumstances, are able to pay rent on their own.
To be eligible to be considered for rent assistance, you must apply online and meet the following requirements:
Have you been helped with rent by PATH previously?
PATH is able assist with rent one time per family
Do you have an eviction notice?
You must be subject to being evicted for us to assist with rent.
Did you have something unexpected happen that caused you to be unable to pay rent this month?
You must have had an unexpected expense or loss of income for us to assist.
Are you normally able to pay your rent with your income?
You must have enough income to cover your own rent under normal circumstances. Once we pay rent, you should be able to pay rent on your own next month. We require proof of income for the household. (30 days).

Meeting all qualifications does not guarantee rent assistance. PATH receives far more requests for rent assistance than funds available.
