Summer Fan Drive
As the summer temperatures rise, many of our neighbors in need turn to PATH for assistance to stay cool. Our annual Summer Fan Drive makes a difference to those we serve.
Last year we provided over 1,000 fans free of charge through the support of donors, local businesses and civic organizations like you. Fans provide relief from the dangerous Texas summer heat by lowering body temperature up to 8 degrees. Fans are also more affordable to run at merely $0.02/hour, making them a sustainable option for those who cannot afford high electricity bills. This service is critical to our most vulnerable clients – the medically fragile, very old or very young
There are several ways to support the annual Summer Fan Drive
Donate Fans or Funds
A $12 donation will purchase a new 20” box fan for our neighbors in need. You can also visit Home Depot in Tyler to purchase a $12 fan that will be picked up by PATH and distributed through our Choice Food Pantry.
Hold a Fan Drive
Businesses, churches, schools and civic organizations can host a fan drive. For more information on hosting a fan drive, email Mike Vasquez, Resource Supervisor or call 903-617-2823.

Kits For Kids
One of the joys of heading back to school is shopping for new school supplies. Required supplies can cost up to $200 per student, while 63% of students attending Tyler ISD are economically disadvantaged. You can support students in need in Tyler and the surrounding area by making a $22 donation to purchase a complete school supply kit with a backpack.
